Honey Butter Popcorn with Pumpkin Spice

It's holiday time, and I am craving that sweet pumpkin spice that seems to be everywhere now. It's great in lattes, cookies, muffins, and of course, pie. Unfortunately, all of these yummy things send a healthy diet way off track. What if you could have a smarter snack that is sweet, salty, crunchy, and spicy--all the things you crave?

This Honey Butter Popcorn with Pumpkin Spice is sticky, sweet and indulgent and only 152 calories in a huge 2-cup serving. It's a fun twist plain old popcorn, and one more thing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

Honey Butter Popcorn with Pumpkin Spice
Serves 4
1 tablespoon trans-fat free margarine
1/4 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
8 cups air popped popcorn

Heat a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the margarine, honey, salt, and pumpkin pie spice and bring to a gentle boil.

In a large bowl, drizzle the hot honey butter over the popcorn, then toss to coat evenly. Serve immediately.
